This webpage acts as an additional guide to software you may find useful during your time at Fuqua. Please refer to your course material on Canvas to determine what Excel add-ins you may require.
If prompted for a username and password, use your NetID and password, (same as email/FuquaWorld login).
If you encounter problems with any of these software installations, please contact the TSC.
- Microsoft Office – Student version: This is a fully licensed copy, which is forever and does not expire
- VLC Media Player – Program for playing audio and video files.
- 7-Zip – Program for compressing and uncompressing files.
- Anti-Virus – Duke OIT recommends the following AV software for personally owned computers: Windows Defender (comes with Windows 10), BitDefender, Avast
- Adobe Creative Cloud – All Duke students have access to Adobe creative cloud at no cost. Student accounts are automatically provisioned and de-provisioned as they enroll at and leave Duke. No cloud services are enabled.
- R – Program R
- R Studio – R Studio.
- MySQL Workbench – MySQL Workbench.
